Update: the office manager called me and we spoke about the situation and asked if I would be open to seeing a different dentist. An agreement was reached and I appreciated her ability to problem solve and navigate a solution. Had been a 10 year patient. Never had an issue with the rotating dentists that would be new and then shortly leave. As a patient without any dental issues/ complications. My care was simple and I would only come in for dental cleanings. Given my continuity of care and consistent dental hygiene practices, i haven't required procedures, which had lead me to request annual X-rays as opposed to every 6 months. This was a cohesive decision made between I as a patient and the dentist at the time. Which had been a continuous agreement with new dentists for 3years. Jonathon Khoi (dentist) did not wish to honor this, and refused to see me, even though my next dental cleanings was already scheduled in 6 months and would've been the date that I would get my annual X-rays. He did not wish to ask me my reasoning, yet did not wish to have a dialogue on my concerns for frequent X-rays. He stated i could just see another dentist but no one would agree to my request. As a healthcare provider, Ive never seen a lack of acknowledgement of a patients concerns, speaking about why this decision was agreed on by previous dentists. If there was a lack of comprehension on his part, that should've also been discussed, however it wasn't and I was dismissed that if it wasn't something I was agreeable to I can go elsewhere, or wait until a previous dentist I saw, come back from vacation and reschedule. This was an extreme inconvenience as an RN, I had to take a day off for the app. As easy as my visit could've been, as I explained to him that I maintain proper dental hygiene practices and have not been diagnosed with any dental diseases, he lacked proper communication and patient care. Staff has always been courteous, respectful and polite.

Simple put...professional, thorough, friendly, and do a great job from beginning to end. Eric is #1 and Olivia is superior to any hygienist I've seen in the past. The staff is always friendly. I've been to see them several times and I will continue to see Eric and Olivia at Desert Crossing Dental as long as I have teeth 🤣. I turned several of my co-workers on to Desert Crossing Dental.. I just wish they had a referral program 😉

From the moment you walk in your greet with warm and friendly experience, staff at the front reception area The doctors are extremely experienced compassionate to your needs explaining everything in detail and giving you options they even have financial for the price of dental procedures. I’ve been going there now for two years and definitely would recommend this dentist facility everyone in my family
